Waubs Beach, Bicheno

 A rainy Saturday on Tassie’s East Coast.

I went to the hotel where Brian and Angela were staying at Bicheno expecting them to tell me we were setting up inside the function room and not on the beach. When I left they were still undecided as the drizzle was on and off and they had their hearts set on the foreshore. I parked by the beach and didn’t have to wait long before the call came though that we were likely to be getting wet! Good stuff, a little rain never hurt anyone and better to be a little soggy than disappointed with your venue. Besides, I already had the waterproof mascara applied!

Personally, I would choose the beach every time, because wet or not it’s always gorgeous! We got through it, got wet but there were smiles all round and that makes it all worthwhile.

Brian and Angela are now expecting a new baby and share fond memories of our wet Saturday in Bicheno.
