Hello, my name is Terese Tanner and I am a registered Civil Marriage Celebrant living in Launceston.

With a background in events management, public speaking, teaching and music, I am a highly regarded, respected, reliable and trusted celebrant.

I can assist you in creating unique ceremonies for any occasion, take care of all the legal paperwork and make your special day one to be cherished forever.
I am committed to making you feel comfortable, relaxed and confident that your ceremony will be all you hope it can be and as wonderful as you deserve it to be.

Available statewide, I have a powerful portable PA system which plays most audio media and I can put you in touch with other local service providers so that all your needs are met.

How to get started?....

The first thing to do is to contact me. You can phone or email me and we can discuss your needs and arrange an obligation free meeting time.
The next step is the completion of the Notice of Intended Marriage form (NoIM). The NoIM can also be downloaded from www.ag.gov.au/celebrants and filled out prior to our meeting but will need to be signed in my presence or with a Justice of the Peace.

It is a legal requirement that the NoIM be lodged with the celebrant no less than one calendar month before your wedding date. The information on this form will explain what legal documents you will need to have with you i.e. birth certificates, passports, divorce papers etc., and a $150 deposit will be required to book and secure my services.

The Meeting…

This meeting will be obligation free and is basically an introduction, informal chat and an opportunity for me to let you know what services I can offer. If you decide that I am to be your celebrant, then you let me know how I can assist you to create a unique Marriage Ceremony that can be anything you want it to be.

Planning…

I will make sure you have all the help you require to plan your Wedding Day and write your vows. I have an extensive collection of books and information or I can send you ideas and ceremony samples via email, fax or post. It is my wish that your day is perfect and the lead up to your Wedding is stress free.
Your ceremony can be as simple or as grand as you desire.
Celtic hand fasting, water cleansing or a traditional wine ceremony can be a simple but romantic addition or you could arrive in a horse drawn cart, have live musicians and release butterflies!

Almost there…

With 7—10 days to go before your Wedding Day we get together to finalize all the preparations and your ceremony

This meeting will involve;
A look through the ceremony and the making of any last minute changes or additions
A rehearsal if you require it

The checking of all the printed certificates to make sure they are correct
Finalizing the ceremony and making sure that all your needs are catered for e.g. PA system, music, table and chairs etc.
Paying the balance owed (please contact me for a quote)
